Congress leaders were detained and detained near the Indian Express Circle while they were on their way to the Raj Bhavan from KPCC office in Bangalore.

Opposition leader Siddaramaiah, KPCC president DK Shivakumar and several others were on hand when state Congress leaders staged a rally at Rajabhan Chalo on Thursday to protest against the implementation of the Directorate of Inquiry into Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in connection with the National Herald case.

Congress workers detained near the Indian Express Circle Leaders of the opposition including Siddaramaiah, KPCC president DK Sivakumar, and opposition leader BK Hariprasad were present. Many leaders and activists including DK Sivakumar, Siddaramaiah and BK Hariprasad were taken into custody by the police.
